The irrigation system used consists of a thin 50 μm diameter water jet. We propose an automated irrigation feedback system capable of recognizing the temperature of the tissue and delivering water accordingly. Tissue irrigation and the laser settings were optimized independently. In this study, we explored the use of the Er:YAG laser for deep bone ablation, in an attempt to optimize its performance and identify its limitations. Since bone and dental tissues have similar compositions, consisting of mineralized and rigid structures, the Er:YAG laser represents a promising tool for laserosteotomy applications. The microsecond Er:YAG pulsed laser with a wavelength of λ = 2.94 μm has been widely used in the medical field, particularly for ablating dental tissues. Note: Author names will be searched in the keywords field, also, but that may find papers where the person is mentioned, rather than papers they authored.Use a comma to separate multiple people: J Smith, RL Jones, Macarthur.Use these formats for best results: Smith or J Smith. For best results, use the separate Authors field to search for author names.Use quotation marks " " around specific phrases where you want the entire phrase only.Question mark (?) - Example: "gr?y" retrieves documents containing "grey" or "gray".Asterisk ( * ) - Example: "elect*" retrieves documents containing "electron," "electronic," and "electricity".Improve efficiency in your search by using wildcards.Example: (photons AND downconversion) - pump.Example: (diode OR solid-state) AND laser.Note the Boolean sign must be in upper-case. Separate search groups with parentheses and Booleans.Keep it simple - don't use too many different parameters.Erdős–Rényi model, a model in graph theory.Einstein-Rosen bridge (ER) relativistic wormholes.Erbium, chemical element with symbol Er.Enantiomeric ratio, a concept in chemistry.Electrorheological (ER) fluid, a type of chemical suspension.ϵ r, a representation for relative static permittivity.Extraction ratio, a pharmacokinetic property.Estrogen receptor, a type of protein molecule.Equine exertional rhabdomyolysis, a syndrome that damages muscle tissue in horses.Endoplasmic reticulum, a type of organelle in cell biology.Emergency room, the emergency department in a medical facility specializing in acute, emergency care, usually found in a hospital or other primary care center.Error Resilience, an audio coding method used in MPEG-4 Part 3.Entity–relationship model, a conceptual representation of data.
